Black Irish Kansas
#1 Simmental sire in 1997 and #2 sire in 1998, Black Irish is the product of careful reproductive planning. A three-star genetic trait leader for calving ease, birth weight and maternal calving ease, he is considered THE heifer bull.
He has over a 60-pound spread from birth to YW EPD. Daughters are large volumed, deep ribbed females with lots of capacity and fertility. Sons have proven themselves to be top-performers in bull tests. His progeny have not only proven themselves in the pasture, but in the show ring as well. Black Irish has made a huge impact on the Simmental breed! Semen is available through American Breeders Service and many sons and daughters are available at the ranch.
